We were approached by Nike to develop a promotional app for use in stores across the UK. The app promotes the brand's new selection of boots whilst also having a selection of football related games for customers to enjoy.
This Nike app is an offline compatible HTML5 file app and is currently being used in stores such as sports direct. Nike is a company focused on quality of their products and so the application had to reflect this as it would be one of the first impressions a customer would get when looking at their new selection.
Browsing new boots
The application allows customers to browse and compare Nike’s newest sportswear in terms of appearance and practical application. Customers can compare the boots’ support, weight, traction and how well suited they are for speed, agility and touch.
The games are focused on some of the core skills used in football; speed and precision. Game 1 is a speed focused game where the user must click the lights as fast as possible. Game 2 is about precision, the user has to draw lines on the screen to redirect the football into the goal.
QR code generator
Once the game is over a score is generated and sent to an API which then generates a QR code. The user can then scan this code to see their score on their phones.
